Webinar Widgets
This is a cool new feature requested by Dimdim Pro customers: any time you schedule a meeting we automatically create a webinar widget for you. Simply share the webinar widget on any website or via FaceBook or Twitter and anyone can register for your event just by entering their email address. The widget sends them email confirmation of their registration and notifies them when your meeting starts. The host gets a registration report and the widget automatically updates to show when the meeting is live. It can be configured to provide a place for the meeting recording or transcript after the event is over.

Easily get a list of everyone who registered for your event whether they were invited by you or they self-registered via a widget. Keep an eye on how many registered for your event and easily cut and paste email address to invite more.

We rewrote our screencasting to be the best in the industry and based it on Flash. You will experience dramatically faster, more secure computer screen sharing while participants view your screen in a new fullscreen, zoomable viewer.

HotSpot Service Enhancements
Our development team has poured over 300 performance enhancements into this release including faster, easier document sharing, automatic webcam/mic detection, squashed hundreds of bugs and reduced the system overhead. All you’ll notice is much better performance with much less bandwidth required. And yes, I already thanked them for you.
As you can no doubt tell, we have added a ton of value to Dimdim Pro accounts. Not one to leave a good thing alone, we moved all Dimdim Pro accounts to their own faster, more powerful server farm which separates their traffic from Dimdim Free ensuring better performance, availability and security.
We introduced new monthly plans and launched Dimdim Pro 50 - our best value - enabling 50 person meetings for only $19 per month (when you prepay) or only $25 per month to pay as you go. Compare this to the $59 WebEx charges for a 25 person room. Finally, we reduced the price of Dimdim Pro 100 from $495 to $468 per year and will be adding 2 free months for selected Pro accounts that were purchased in the last few months. This is just our way of way of saying thanks to our loyal customers for your support.

SynchroLive Web Browsing
A very visible example of our SynchroLive Communication Platform is this great new feature. Instead of telling someone about a cool new webpage you just found, simply start a Dimdim room and send them the room URL. Now start scrolling through any web page and SynchroLive will take care of the rest - as you scroll on your computer, your guest will see what you see and their view will scroll as you scroll. Visit a YouTube page, for instance, and the video will start playing on everyone’s desktop - all in sync. A great way to present web-based surveys, videos, even your own website.
Better Recording and Archiving
Any Dimdim session can be recorded and made available with the click of the mouse - now both presenter and attendee audio is recorded. Simply press the record button and that’s it! At the end of the meeting we’ll send you an email an URL that you can send to others - or grab an embed code and paste the recording on your blog or website. You can even download and store your recordings.
