The Dimdim Affiliate Program (DAP) offers you an opportunity to generate revenue by hosting our banner ads or text links on your website, article or blog. You recommend Dimdim by hosting our banner ads or text links. As soon as your visitor clicks the banner ads or text links, they are directed to our site where the product is sold. If the customer purchases the product within 120 days, you are paid a commission. The program is tracked through the Commission Junction affiliate network and payments are issued by Commission Junction on a monthly basis.

This tutorial page will provide you with the basic information and guidelines you need to get started with the DAP.

You need to create an account in Commission Junction and join the Dimdim Affiliate Program. It's a simple process- All you will need to do is provide your contact details and the information for your website, newsletter, article or blog.

Registering to the Dimdim Affiliate Program

• Go to the Dimdim Affiliate Program page.
• In the Dimdim Affiliate Program page, click the Sign up now for the Dimdim Pro Affiliate Program link. The sign up page appears.
• Select the language preference, country and functional currency.
• Click Next.
• In the page that opens, accept the Service Agreement, check the Code of Conduct, Private Policy, Age Certification, and Certification of Authority.
• Enter your Site Information, Company Information, Payment Information and click Accept Terms.

Check your inbox for an email from Commission Junction with your acceptance message and password. Congratulations! You are now a part of the Dimdim Affiliate Program.

Banners and Text Links
Banners and text links are a good way to attract the attention of your site's visitor. Dimdim provides a wide variety of attractive banners to post on your website. Choose the banners and text links provided by us and host them in your website.

You will also be able to monitor the results of these advertisements through your Commission Junction account. You also have the option of testing the different banners and check which banner performs best and appeals to your audience.

Selecting Banners and Links

• Log on to your Commission Junction account.
• Choose Dimdim from the My Advertisers menu. The Dimdim Program Detail page opens.
• Under the Get Links section, select the link or banner you want to place on your website and click Get HTML.
• Copy and paste the HTML code into your website.

The HTML code uniquely identifies you as the affiliate and allows both Commission Junction and Dimdim to track visitors who click on the links as having being referred by you. This tracking mechanism is active for 120 days depending on whether your visitor deletes their cookies or not.

Advertising Dimdim on Other Websites or Search Engines
Whenever affiliates use Dimdim in their advertising and marketing efforts, care must be taken that it is used in a manner which is in compliance with our terms of service. In this section, a list of dos and don’ts that affiliates must follow while hosting or advertising Dimdim on websites or search engines are defined. Affiliates must adhere to the guidelines stated below.

Trademark Bidding
Dimdim does NOT allow Trademark bidding. Affiliates are requested not to bid on any of our trademark names or renditions thereof.
The following list includes a few examples of restricted terms. Please do not bid on the following terms or any other similar combinations or misspellings:

• Dimdim
• Dimdim Meeting
• Dimdim Conference
• Dimdim.com
• Spelling variations of the above terms.

Use of Trademarks in Domains, Ad copy and Extensions
Domain Guidelines
To ensure that there is no confusion in the market, Dimdim trademarks must NOT be used in domains and sub-domains. Any variations of the Dimdim trademarks are also NOT to be used. The following list includes a few examples of restricted trademarks use in domains and sub-domains. Please do NOT use the following:
www.dim-dim.com
www.dimdim.topwebconferencetool.com
www.dimdim.conference.com

Ad Copy Guidelines
The use of trademark in Ad copy is allowed with our permission. For permissions, contact affiliates@dimdim.com.
The ad copy must not include the word “official” or “official store/site” or in any way insinuate that the ad is coming from Dimdim.
The ad copy visible URL must not contain “Dimdim” or Dimdim.com may not be used as the ad copy display URL.
The landing page should be your website.

Extension Guidelines
The use of trademarks in extensions is permitted. For example, www.topwebconferencetool.com/Dimdim

Keywords
Keyword bidding on search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN, and others is a great way to gain instant traffic to your website. However, we'd like to remind you of the following restrictions on keyword bidding. The following list includes a few examples of restricted keywords. Please do not bid on these terms or any similar combinations or misspellings:

• Dimdim
• Dimdim Conference
• Dimdim Webmeeting
• dimdim.com
• Spelling variations of the above terms.

The in-house Dimdim paid search campaign at any search engine cannot be outbid.
Initiating and participating in a keyword bid war that leads to unnecessary increase in the keyword bid prices for our in-house campaign and other Dimdim affiliates is NOT permitted.
We recommend the following keywords that can be used:
Web conferencing, online conference, online meeting, collaboration, collaborate, presentation, meetings, conferencing, web communication, online training, online demo, remote desktop, video conferencing.
