The world's easiest screen sharing. Now with more speed and control.
With Dimdim, you can always share your screen with one click. Now you can choose to share your entire desktop, a region you specify or any application or windows you desire. These new options make it easier for you to control what your audience sees.

What's more, this version is faster and easier to use. The on-screen controller elegantly gets out of your way when you are sharing your screen and allows you to change modes with a single click. You can also see the number of people viewing your screen and your meeting key at a glance.

*Note: Free accounts cannot share application or regions nor lock their meetings.

And of course, only Dimdim lets you share your screen even without opening a browser or scheduling a meeting using the simple yet powerful myScreen plug-in. myScreen is perfect for those occasions when you are already on the phone or Skype with other people who you need to show something that’s on your computer screen. Just one click, and you are there.
Here is an example:

Let’s say you are on a phone call with your team. You want to show everyone a document you are working on and get instant feedback.

1. Click “Share myScreen” in your Mac Menubar or Windows System Tray
2. Tell everyone to go to my.dimdim.com/blizzard.
3. Everyone now sees your screen. It’s that simple. No need to install any software to see your screen.

Now you want to share a collaborative whiteboard or ask a private chat question to your boss. Open a browser and go to the same URL your team went to: http://my.dimdim.com/blizzard

(We notice it is you - the owner of the room joining) and your video camera springs to life, public chat and private chat are now available in your full Dimdim room.

Take the pulse of your audience

With the new Polling Manager, you can create polls before or during your live event. Simply click New Poll, enter your question and up to 5 answers. Click Open for Voting and your audience sees your poll instantly.

Choose to share the results with everyone or keep them to yourself - it’s your choice. You can choose to see the results of the last poll, the current live results or all results over all meetings the poll was voted on.

Do you know
Everything at your fingertips
With our new Resource Manager, you can upload and store all your presentations, Powerpoints, and now Word and Excel documents in our secure cloud - before, during or after your meeting. While you can always share a new document at any time during your meeting - you now have all your favorite documents no more than 2 clicks away. Simply click to select a file from your hard drive, select Upload and your document is quickly converted to a format that lets you present over the web during your meetings as if you were giving your presentation in person. You can do this during, before or after your meeting so you are always prepared.

What's more, any annotations you or your audience make on these documents during your events are saved so you can review them later using our new Preview feature,

Premium accounts get 2 GBs of storage (Free accounts can store a maximum of 20MBs of files) and can share the original document via a public or private link so attendees can download at any time - even during the live event! Need to keep that file from prying eyes? Simply password protect your documents at any time. (Not available in free accounts)

As an added bonus - you can start a live meeting instantly on document - just click the document and select Meet Now - that document is loaded in your room and you are ready to present in seconds!

Share your piece of the Web

Ever need to show a compelling video or slideshow or some other web content during your meeting? In the past this was no easy feat. But now with our new Mashups feature you simply paste any YouTube video URL and the content is presented to everyone live during your meeting - and stored for future ones.

What's more, when you click Play your video plays on everyone’s screen at full frame rate as if they went to YouTube directly. Click Pause and it pauses everywhere.

Paste the URL to any Picasa web album and you can present the albums one photo at a time - or jump to a particular picture - all in sync.

Need to share something other than YouTube or Picasa? Just find and paste any embed code and the web content appears in everyone’s browser in seconds.

Paid accounts can create and store any number of mashups.

See and hear more than ever
Many people rely on Dimdim's video conferencing tool to enhance the virtual “faceto- face” experience. In our latest version, we upped our game - doubling the number of cameras in paid accounts from 2 to 4 (still just one for free accounts.)

We’ve simplified controls as well. There are no separate microphone permissions needed and the push-to-talk mode is gone: simply click to unmute your microphone or pause your video - with convenient client-side indicators.

What’s more, simply clicking on an icon lets you see and hear everyone in a dedicated full-screen mode so you can really get up close and personal.

Who said meetings needed to be boring? Simply swap any small video to toggle with the big video so you can really see the person most important to that portion of your meeting.
